Very comfortable bungalow and well placed for amenities in Seahouses and exploring the area. Weather is not too bad (apart from Storm Agnes rain & wind!) Lots of beach walks & visited Holy Island, Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh and Howick Hall.

Had a great time here. 6 of us managed perfectly well in the cottage & found it perfect & comfortable. If you like walking then the walks to Bamburgh & Beadnell are very nice and not too far. Alnwick is a must to visit too- especially the gardens and Barter Books if you like book shops.

The house was clean and comfortable. The location was lovely and quiet. The conservatory was in an awkward location through the bedroom so there wasnt a lot of space for every guest. The kitchen was in need of more utensils and possibly bigger toaster - cooking toast for 6 people took a while. No iron and board was a real pain and is a must for aRead more holiday cottage these days! Main issue was not changing linen and towels mid break. If we had paid/ booked for 2 separate weeks we would have automatically had fresh linen. Feels very grubby as most people I know change their bedding once a week. This should not have been at an extra cost to us considering the cost of the booking already. We were going to rebook for next year but the cost for same two weeks in 2024 has gone up by almost 300 for same time period! This is extortionate and so we definitely wont be rebooking. Not as good service as Northumbria cottages sorry! Hide

We had a lovely time at shearwaters, lovely and quiet but close to all amenities. This was our first time visiting Northumberland. Lots of lovely beaches to visit and castle's. Alnwick castle garden's were spectacular.

Previous guests pinched the weather! Rather wet but a good week nonetheless. Bungalow very comfy and really enjoyed Seahouses. Alnwick Gardens are incredible!

The holiday cottage was great, plenty of room to sit inside and out. The three bedrooms were all double. The cottage wasn't too far from Seahouses and all the shops. The area has plenty to see and do. All in all a great place to stay.

Great location and we had everything we needed (a dish cloth and washing up liquid might be a good addition! Apart from that, well equipped and comfortable. A perfect base for exploring the area.
