Immerse yourselves in the unique beauty of coastal Northumberland when you stay at this impressive retreat in Seahouses. Sleeping eight guests and welcoming dogs, the three-bedroom holiday home makes a great option for extended families and groups of friends. Situated less than 1 mile from the sandy beach, it has a superb, seaside-themed courtyard garden for summer and a wood burner for warming yourselves beside in the winter.

Wander inside to find immaculate accommodation that has been finished with flair. Congregate in the light-filled lounge with its large bay window, and unwind in front of the crackling wood burner set in the elegant fireplace with a great film on the Smart TV. Flowing easily through to the equally chic kitchen/diner, the lounge offers ample space for all. Take turns at preparing snacks, meals and cold drinks in the contemporary kitchen/diner, then gather around the table inside or out to enjoy your Northumberland feasts. Open the French doors to the garden in here during the summer months. A useful utility room and a family shower room are also downstairs. All three inviting bedrooms are up on the first floor of the cottage. These include two fabulous doubles and a room with two sets of bunks that can sleep up to four adults. There is also a family bathroom up here. Gather in the garden on fine days to chat, dine and enjoy the sunshine together. Serve drinks from the beach hut-style bar and sip cocktails as the day draws to a close. There is private parking for one car, plus a permit for a nearby car park during the high season.

Lace up your walking boots and follow a section of the Northumberland Coast Path. Stroll 3 miles along the beautiful beach to dramatic Bamburgh Castle, which featured in the TV series The Last Kingdom.

A lovely home situated in the centre of seahouses. Everything you need provided except a hairdryer but thats not a biggy! A walk on the beautiful beaches makes it look like a crows nest! Great communication from the owners. Will definitely return again

The only equipment that I wish was provided was a hairdryer. Every other holiday home we have stayed at over the years had a hairdryer. Otherwise, this is a wonderful home, centrally located, tastefully decorated, has 2 good bathrooms with good showers/tub. Kitchen has everything, and equipment seems new and of good quality. We found Amber Waves very well equipped, tastefully appointed and ideally located. The property is a credit to the owners who have thought of every comfort and convenience for their guests. Its the perfect place to relax after exploring all the beautiful places Northumberland has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
