Conveniently located for visiting the coastal AONB, the Northumberland National Park and the lively market town of Alnwick (9 miles), a stay here offers your group the chance to really get to know the many wonders of Northumberland. The property is a converted stone barn on a small development with exceptional views across Wandylaw Moor. It’s made for celebratory get-togethers with your extended family, accommodating a total of eight guests and offering ample space both outside and in for raising a glass and reminiscing on holidays past. It’s also dog-friendly with incredible walks from its doorstep and dramatic scenery to be admired all around.
Vaulted ceilings with original beams and exposed stone walls add to the traditional charm of this attractive barn conversion, whilst underfloor heating and all of the necessary mod-cons bring the property into the 21st century. An impressive kitchen with a large central island offers a sociable hub for the family’s activities, whilst a separate dining room next door is the place to sit down for mealtimes full of laughter and chatter. You can also exit via French doors to dine in the garden, enjoying furniture and a BBQ in the fully enclosed outdoor space. All four bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, including a king-size, a double, a twin and a bunk bedroom. Three bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the last one is served by a large family bathroom.
Jump in the car and take a trip to the coast, discovering that Beadnell (7.5 miles) and Seahouses (7 miles) are not far at all. Both villages offer idyllic coastal scenes and seafood eateries. Beadnell is home to Beadnell Bay Beach, a crescent-shaped sweep of golden sand that’s always popular with sunbathers and water sports fans, whilst Seahouses has a busy harbour from which to embark on boat tours and sea safaris.
