This bright, vibrant, and colourful holiday home is set on the edge of the quiet village of Craster in Northumberland. It is plenty spacious for large group getaways of 12 guests and welcomes six canine companions. Look forward to a wood burner, eclectic furnishings, and a fabulous, enclosed garden.
Heading inside the property, you will notice that each room has its own colour and decor scheme. Spend evenings socialising and cooking together in the farmhouse kitchen which has an Aga, breakfast bar, and a separate seating area. Once your stomachs are full, settle down in one of the two stylish lounge spaces which both have Smart TVs, and one a warming wood burner. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility/laundry room, and a WC. Upstairs, are the well-appointed and pretty bedrooms: there are four doubles, one of which has an en-suite bathroom, and a family bedroom containing a double bed and bunk bed alongside its own en-suite. A family bathroom with a sumptuous roll-top bath is also on this level. Outside, is a large garden with a patio and lawn, perfect for dining alfresco, playing garden games, or simply just enjoying some time out relaxing.
Craster is home to a vibrant fishing harbour, as well as some lovely seafood restaurants. There are several walking routes which are easy to access from here, especially the Dunstanburgh Castle Walk (1 mile) which boasts superb sea views and takes in the imposing ruins of the castle. The Northumberland Coast Path twists along this spectacular, scenic coastline and reaches the beach at Embleton Bay (3 miles). Further afield is the pretty market town of Alnwick (6.5 miles) home to a fabulous castle and Alnwick Garden.
