Holiday in style at this classy modern townhouse, which stands on the site of a former smokery in pretty Seahouses. It’s in an excellent location, 150 metres from a wonderful sandy beach backed by low, grassy dunes – a true delight for children, dogs, and lovers of water sports such as kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. With space for eight guests, this beautifully presented home is perfect for a multi-generational family holiday or trip among friends keen to discover the arresting Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This sophisticated three-storey property is decorated to a high standard, with quality furniture and beautifully chosen wallpaper, artwork, and ornaments throughout. You’ll have three out of four bedrooms and the family bathroom on the ground floor, with the living quarters on the first floor. In the welcoming lounge area, which is adorned with luxurious velvet seating, relax with fellow guests, watching a film or playing games, staying cosy thanks to the electric fire. The chic shaker-style kitchen is perfect for culinary creations, and there’s an elegant dining area for enjoying meals as a group. The second floor hosts the master en-suite king-size bedroom. You’ll also have access to a small outdoor area, accessed via the first bedroom, where you can enjoy evening drinks and morning coffees.

You’ll be 250 metres from the village high street, where you’ll find gift shops, cafes, and friendly local pubs to explore. At the harbour (400 metres) you can take a boat ride to the wildlife-rich Farne Islands, which lie 5 miles offshore – with a bit of luck, you may spot puffins and seals. There are plenty of excellent walking and cycling routes nearby, including the lovely coastal trail leading to Bamburgh (4 miles). Absorb the sweeping ocean vistas along the way, and when you get there, visit the majestic castle which stands gloriously atop a mighty outcrop, offering spectacular views all around.

Back from weeks holiday and in total the holiday was good. House in good location, but soundproofing is horrendous, you hear every movement from upstairs in all downstair bedrooms. House was quite dusty, cleaners need to take more time for new guests coming in. Welcome pack was a really nice touch. Parking in the designated bay can be quite diffRead moreicult if you have a big car when all the other spaces are full. House has all the essentials you would need for your holiday. Hide

We have just returned from a great week in Seahouses, the property was a great size for 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 dogs. Brilliant location a few minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. The house is really well equipped with lots of space to sit and relax and a kitchen with everything we needed. Id agree with a previous comment about soundproofRead moreing both within the house and from neighbouring properties, but it didnt affect us with older children. Wed definitely stay there again. The parking at this property is a joke. The parking bay was inaccessible when other cars are already parked in their bays. We parked on the roadside outside the property and came out one morning to a damaged car ! One of the bedrooms has 2 single beds set apart and we thought we would push them together to make a double . Wow I have no idea whenRead more that bed was last moved but the dust was at least 2 inches thick ( there was also a dirty pair of underpants Hide
