With windows on three sides, the dining area is perfect for enjoying home-cooked family meals. Or, if you don’t feel like cooking, takeaways from one of Beadnell’s outlets. French doors open to the garden from here. The two-bedroom annexe, accessible via the garden, has an open-plan living space and kitchenette with a sliding glass door and double-aspect windows. There’s a smaller seating spot for four and a wood burner-effect electric fire. Outside, the enclosed garden offers direct gated access to the sand dunes. This space benefits from all-day sun, making it perfect for al fresco dining using the garden furniture provided.
Located within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding National Beauty, Beadnell is a wonderful base for a walking or cycling holiday. A number of picturesque coastal walks and cycle trails start from your front door. The nearby coastal towns – such as Seahouses (2.5 miles), Bamburgh (6 miles), Newton-by-the-Sea (6 miles), Embleton (6 miles), and Craster (9.5 miles) – are all worth the visit. For a day out, drive 15 miles inland to the historic market town of Alnwick, where you can visit a magnificent castle that was used in the Harry Potter films.
