You’ll enter this modern bungalow into a glazed entrance porch where you can leave your coats and shoes. Inside, a neutral colour scheme and tasteful artwork throughout create a fresh and pleasant atmosphere. Head through the square archway to reach the galley-style kitchen, which is well-equipped for meal prep. Completing the interior is a double bedroom. Outside, the fenced garden is perfect for dogs to run around in and there’s a lawn and a patio area, complete with outdoor seating for two. In our opinion not suitable for people with mobility difficulties , as a 30 -40 metres walk to the comunial car park with luggage and a high step at the side door. A clean property but had problems with storage heating . Found the mattress a bit too firm and only a summer duvet in March..

Everything about Salty Air was perfect. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the thoughtful bathroom and kitchen welcome packs were a nice touch. The bungalow is extremely well equipped and the information pack with all instructions was very useful. Good, well presented holiday home in an excellent location for getting all around Northumbria and the borders, as well as the superb local beaches, the nearest of which is a five minute walk away, with the harbour and the main sandy beach about ten minutes walk. There is a very dog friendly pub / restaurant and a local shop also about five minutesRead more walk away. Apart from this the area is very quiet. The cottage is set in an estate of many similar properties but don't be put off by this unless quaint and secluded is an absolute must. The property comes with an allocated parking space about 20m away but within sight. The parking area is a bit tight if full but at least it is off road. I would definitely recommend this property and would definitely return in the future Hide
