Get everyone together at this gorgeous, contemporary, three-storey townhouse overlooking Amble's pretty marina in the Warkworth and Amble area of Northumberland's beautiful coast. Sleeping eight across four bedrooms, this lovely cottage is an excellent option for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing base while they're discovering the beautiful coastal attractions together. During the day, wander along Amble’s bustling harbour and stop off to buy some of the region's famous lobsters from the local seafood market. Return and enjoy a perfect al fresco dinner on the townhouse’s wooden deck while you take in the wonderful sea views.

From the townhouse’s porch, step inside and you’ll be greeted by a vibrant open-plan kitchen/dining area adorned with wonderful seascape-themed design touches. Climb upstairs and unwind in the chic lounge before heading back to the sleek kitchen to whip up some dinner for your loved ones. Host a sociable meal at the elegant dining table or head out to the cottage’s wooden deck to dine alfresco while you soak up the uninterrupted sea views. After dinner, head to the Juliet balcony on the first floor to watch the fishing boats bobbing in the harbour. After night falls, four bedrooms are waiting for you – one bright double on the ground floor, one generous twin on the first floor, and a beautifully styled double and a handy twin on the second floor.

Spend a blissful day at Amble Beach (0.5 miles). Take a peaceful stroll along the beach and then take some photos by the colourful beach huts at Amble Little Shore. Alternatively, grab your binoculars and join a boat tour to Coquet Island (2 miles). Watch for the nesting puffins and terns and take some photos of the grey seals basking on the rocks. Head 6 miles north to Alnmouth for more lovely shops and cafes, a golf course and another beautiful beach.

We had a lovely time in Amble. The house was perfect for our big family and the views from the kitchen and living room amazing. Everything you need is in walking distance.
