Get the whole gang together at this tranquil stone-built cottage set in a quiet spot in North Sunderland – just 0.5 miles outside the pretty fishing village of Seahouses. Sleeping seven across four bedrooms, this retreat is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for a welcoming cottage on the Northumberland coast. During the day, take a stroll along Seahouses Harbour and treat yourself to some local fish and chips. Host dinners in the cottage’s light, bright orangery while admiring enchanting views over the patio garden.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious lounge that effortlessly blends its modern design touches with its cosy ambience. Head to the adjoining open-plan kitchen/dining area to rustle up dinner. Gather everyone around the dining table in the orangery for a meal. Alternatively, head through the sliding patio doors to the garden to dine alfresco with pretty views. After dinner, head to the games room on the second floor, or relax on the first-floor balcony with beautiful sea views. There’s a second lounge on the second floor with Velux windows where you can hide away and read. You’ll find four generously sized bedrooms on the first floor – two doubles, one smaller double with a 4' double bed that sleeps one person, and a twin that can be converted into a double on request.

History buffs will love spending a day exploring Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles), which is perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the breathtaking beach. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and head to Beadnell Bay (3.5 miles) to relax on the golden sands – it’s a great spot to try your hand at windsurfing or kitesurfing. Seahouses is also home to a golf club and wildlife boat tours, alongside charming shops and cafes, so you don’t have to venture far for a memorable holiday.

First time I have stayed in a cottage and not had a small welcome pack and messages on scraps of paper doesnt look professional try laminated notice in the kitchen .

A wonderful property in a great location just a short walk from Seahouses. The lounge, kitchen and dining area were all comfortable and spacious but the highlight was the loft with the pool table. Would definitely recommend.

Great property with fantastic facilities and a fabulous location to explore the coast. This is our third time staying at the property. We will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely 3 generations holiday at Twin Palms 2. It was spacious and light - beds and en suite showers were excellent, but the bathroom shower would have been much better if it had been a proper wall fixture rather than hand held. Extremely well equipped and lots of useful appliances. Loads of storage and very comfortable. Our favourite room Read morewas the rear extension, all in all a lovely property with good parking Hide

Upon arrival the house was not prepared very well and needed a good hoover. Not really what we expected.

Great house, loved the games room and games, books etc, ideal when weather not the best! Would not hesitate to book again. Footnote and not for publication pleas. sheet of foam over mattress in pink bedroom, is not a proper mattress topper, not breathable material and causes sweating really unhygienic. Mattress underneath none too clean

Well maintain large family property with 10 minutes walk to Seahouses harbour. Beautiful beaches with 10/15 minutes drive
