Good location overlooking the sea and Coquet Island. We had a few issues with kettle not working and had to buy a new one, but we were reimbursed . Toilet on first floor wasnt flushing very well and the radiator in the toilet downstairs was leaking slightly. The garden furniture was poor I so much as the table top was wonky due to it being woven plRead moreastic and not glass. Also the grass could have been mowed. Having said all that we still enjoyed the break in Amble. Hide

Had a very enjoyable stay. Quiet peaceful area. Lots of great eateries and attractions nearby. Beach so close was great to walk there. House was perfect for our needs and worked perfectly for us. I would recommend this property and the area as we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The balcony looking out to the beach was also really lovely.

Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday. The house is in a perfect position and the view from the first floor living room is stunning. The house had everything we needed and having a thermostat on the first floor helped heat the area we spent most time in. It's ideally located to walk to the marina and town with pubs and restaurants within walking Read moredistance. Hide

The cottage location was great, the view from the 1st floor living room was beautiful, this has got to be the best one we have stayed in yet, would love to go back in the summertime.

Good location, great views and good size property that comfortably accommodates 8 guests (we were 6 adults and 2 children) But the house needs a deep clean and needs more attention to detail. This could be a very good holiday property but we were disappointed that the bifold doors to the balcony were broken on our arrival - they would not close pRead moreroperly causing a security issue. A builder then a locksmith were arranged. Despite changing locks so the doors could be closed, the locksmith thought we shouldnt open them as the problem was more with the doors than the lock. So a holiday without the main standout feature of the property of the balcony, although we still had the view. Disappointed to find when we stripped the beds that there were NO mattress protectors. Although it looked clean enough on arrival, much of the property required a proper clean - fridge, dishwasher drain, underneath furniture, under sofa cushions. Hide
