Superb development at Dukesfield, quiet and peaceful yet within easy walking distance of Bamburgh. Facilities were excellent with features youd expect to see at much bigger developments, its a great business model. Loved the small touches for example, the welcome pack and vouchers, free golf at the top class Bamburgh Castle Golf Club, easy light loRead moregs and woods for the log burner, Netflix, great Wi-Fi and I could go on! Will we be back? If we are heading to the area again without doubt, classy development and avoids the very busy Bamburgh itself. Hide

If Peace and quiet is for you, St Aidans cottage is just the ticket! Comfortable, Cozy and Calming. If the weather is inclement just hunker down with a log fire and watch it all happen from the comfort of the conservatory. A Wonderful stay - thank you

Loved the location of St Aidan's Cottage. Limited space in the bedrooms, so had to be very tidy and partly live out of the suitcase. The conservatory really makes the cottage, great relaxing space and wonderful views Obvious areas were clean but dead flies in windowsills, hairs behind doors and chairs and cobwebs in window. Observed a cleaner goinRead moreg in and out of adjacent property, very speedy cleaning!! Given that we paid an additional 25 / dog supposedly to cover extra cleaning costs, there is no evidence that this is being done! Very frustrated that other residents of Dukesfield properties let their dogs out in the shared communal area to do their toilet business some not even picking up the poo!! Liked the property, loves the location, enjoyed the tennis court and hot tub used by family but it is significantly more expensive than other properties. For next summer St Aidan's is 450 more for the same week than another property we have previously stayed at (more spacious, sleeping six, private garden and parking). Although we loved many things about St Aidan's and Dukesfield, I don't think it is worth the additional money. Hide
