Escape to the coast and fill your time with long, scenic walks, water sports and trips to the nearby quaint villages. Settle into this crisp and bright, traditional bungalow which backs onto Beadnell Bay Beach for a memorable break with a group of up to seven other guests.
As you enter the cottage, you’ll find yourself in a warm and welcoming open-plan lounge/diner with an eye-catching original fireplace with an open fire. Wooden furnishings create an elegant and traditional feel. A skylight in the kitchen keeps it bright and airy while cooking a special homemade dinner for your guests. Choose from four lovingly decorated bedrooms – a king-size with an open en-suite, two doubles and a bunk bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with brightly coloured wood panelling. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed south-west-facing garden with a patio, lawn, furniture and a BBQ.
Open the gate in the garden and step straight onto the windswept dunes of Beadnell Bay Beach (less than 200 metres). Start your day with a splash in the sea before strolling along the Beadnell Bay Sand Dunes to reach the Long Nanny Beadnell Bay Bird Sanctuary (2 miles). Visit the nearby village of Seahouses (2.5 miles), where you can catch a boat to the Farne Islands – where you can spot puffins at the rookery. You’ll also be just 9.5 miles from the dramatic ruins of the 14th-century Dunstanburgh Castle and the historic Queen Margaret’s Cove (9 miles).
