Oozing character from its wooden beamed ceilings and traditional cottage decor, this cosy hideaway is ideal for a couple who are looking for a romantic getaway by the sea. Spend your time away discovering the secluded beaches, scenic walking trails and quaint villages of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty while staying in a quiet, rural village.

As you enter the property you’ll be drawn in by its charm with wooden decor throughout the open-plan lounge/diner. Snuggle up on the sofa with a glass of bubbly while you warm your toes in front of the open fire. Just behind you, is a dining table where you can sit down for a candle-lit meal for two. Continue into the kitchen and play chef for the evening in this bright neutral-toned space with shaker-style cabinets and colourful tiling. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom. Climb the stairs to reach the first floor which contains a king-size bedroom with sloped ceilings and exposed beams.

While staying in the sleepy village of North Sunderland, within 1 mile of your front door, you’ll be able to reach Seahouses Beach. The large coastal village of Seahouses also offers a pretty harbour, gastropub, and boat tours to the Farne Islands Puffins Rookery. Spend a day exploring Bamburgh (3.5 miles) where you can visit the imposing castle, museum, and tearooms. Stroll along the seafront to reach Bamburgh Lighthouse (4.5 miles) and the golf club. Cooker slow, vacuum full of dust and heavy to use. A heated towel rail would be good, difficult to dry towel, smaller towels would have been better.
