Enjoy spending time together in the airy, open-plan living space of this delightful property. Offering a variety of facilities so you can either relax or be as active as you wish, it’s ideal for couples or small families wanting to explore the coast and countryside around Bamburgh and Seahouses.
To reach the converted outbuilding, climb the outdoor steps and access the open-plan living space. A wood burner sits at the heart of this impressive room, and in one corner the elegant kitchen offers the cook everything necessary for preparing hearty meals, including a wine cooler for drinks. The dining table is adjacent, and after supper you can get cosy on the sofas, perhaps setting up for a movie night. Anyone feeling energetic can head to the shared games room, gym or tennis court, or you can jump into the hot tub, also shared with other guests at the small complex. At bedtime, head upstairs to find two double bedrooms (one of which has a 4’ bed), plus a family bathroom. For a morning cuppa in the fresh air, a sundowner or even a meal outdoors, you can use the shared courtyard where there’s furniture and a BBQ, and dogs and children will love running around in the shared paddock.
In Bamburgh, 1.5 miles, you’ll find not only the famous castle but also a golf club, beaches and fabulous walking trails. The coast path (or a short drive) takes you to the larger village of Seahouses, 4.5 miles, where there are some wonderful shops to explore, as well as a variety of places to eat and drink. Don’t miss a boat trip to see the puffins on the Farne Islands, and for a fabulous day out head to Alnwick Castle, 16 miles, star of the Harry Potter films.
