Go into the open-plan living area, where you can curl up on a sofa with a good book in front of the open fire, enjoy the views towards the sea, and watch a great movie. Cook delicious meals in the kitchen and enjoy them together at the dining table, before heading to bed in the three pretty bedrooms: a super-king-size room, a double with a handy en-suite shower room, and a bunk room for the kids. There’s also a family bathroom where you can relax with a long soak or a quick shower. Outside, there’s loads of space for the kids to play in the enclosed garden, with a large lawn and patio where you can sit and enjoy a few drinks, light the BBQ, dine alfresco, and create great wonderful holiday memories under the stars.
Walk from the garden through the sand dunes to the beach, just over 150 metres away, for a leisurely wander or a refreshing dip. Head into Beadnell to visit the pubs, cafes and village shops, and pop to Seahouses (2 miles) on the coast, where there are several places to eat out and a working harbour where you can book a boat trip to the wildlife-rich Farne Islands. Bamburgh (5 miles) and Alnwick (13 miles) are within easy reach; both have impressive castles with wonderful histories to discover.
