Take your vouchers and head out for lunch or dinner at the village pub or cafe, or pop to the fish and chip shop. Wander to the beach (300 metres), a sweeping, sandy bay perfect for building sandcastles, and enjoying water sports. Explore the coastline on the Northumberland Coast Path, which starts in Beadnell and follows the coast towards Bamburgh Castle (5 miles). The fortress is worth a visit as is the RNLI Grace Darling Museum in Bamburgh (5 miles). Visit Seahouses (1.5 miles) where you can catch a boat to the Farne Islands and see the resident terns, puffins, and seals at certain times of the year.
