A gorgeous stone cottage in the heart of Seahouses offering stylish, family-friendly accommodation with a cosy wood burner and amenities just a few metres away. This two-bedroom property will appeal to keen explorers, beach babies and gentle ramblers, with the coast and countryside right on your doorstep.

Step into this lovely cottage and find a warm welcome waiting for you. The open-plan living area is the heart of the home. Settle here after days spent on the sand and in the sea, and relax for a while, toasting your toes in front of the wood burner, listening to music via the SONOS system or catching up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. The kitchen is a joy to cook in, with all the mod cons needed to create even the fanciest meals. The bedrooms continue the quality of the accommodation, with a king-size and a twin boasting luxurious linens and ample storage space for walking boots and layers. Finishing off the floor is the stylish, tiled bathroom. After a great night's sleep, begin your day with a freshly percolated coffee from the Nespresso machine and enjoy it out in the gravelled courtyard, with only the sound of crashing waves to accompany you.

Potter along the harbour of Seahouses, tucking into ice creams and admiring the boats gliding along the water. Watch the fishermen bring in today's catch and dive into a freshly prepared seafood supper at one of the many restaurants here. Excursions to the Farne Islands also travel from here, with the chance to catch glimpses of seabirds and grey seals. Back on dry land, Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles) is worth a visit for its incredible historic tales, exhilarating views and salty sea air. Alternatively, venture down to Bamburgh Beach to explore its pristine beach, drifting sand dunes and snug cafes.

The fan in the ceiling of the bathroom was very dirty and no oven gloves or tea towels were present until the owner intervened. Car parking for our large car was difficult at times .
