Vibrantly decorated with a home-from-home style throughout, this characterful country cottage will offer an inviting welcome from the moment you cross the threshold. Enter into the spacious, open-plan living room to find excellent lounge, dining and kitchen facilities. Sink into the comfy sofa and unwind to the hum of the Smart TV and the crackles from the wood burner. Find the kitchen to have a contemporary feel as you prepare tummy-warming dishes and serve them up around the stylish dining table. Make the most of sunny evenings by sitting out in the courtyard with a chargrilled BBQ feast and a glass of something cool and crisp. When heads begin to nod, take the cottage-style stairs up to the first floor to drift off in the king-size or twin-room. The family shower room completes this floor.

The welcome packs provided were a very nice touch, situated in an lovely area with easy access to the coast and several sites of interest. Not totally secure for dogs as there is no wall or fence with agate, to stop them roaming. Had a lovely time and mostly sunny weather, you must visit the Apple Inn nearby very dog friendly, food very good and veRead morery friendly, accommodating staff. Seahouses village nearby has the only fish and chip shop/restaurant serving Lobster and chips that I have ever seen, to be recommended. Hide

We had a very enjoyable stay at Aidan Cottage which was in a quiet area. Location ideal for visiting the surrounding area. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area.

Good cottage in a nice location. Parking can be a challenge as there is no designated parking for the cottage but we always managed to find a space.

Location the cottage is ideal for all the best Northumberland has to offer. The weather was warm when we were there, so we didn't need much heating other than a little boost later in the evening, which we achieved easily by turning the thermostat up slightly. Plentiful hot water was available on demand. All rooms were comfortable and nicely apRead morepointed but we felt more crockery and cutlery in the kitchen would have have been a good addition and of great benefit. The outdoor space was nice, though not private. Each cottage had its own designated space, table etc, within a larger courtyard area shared by a number of cottages. The cottage worked well for us and we had a very enjoyable 3 night break Hide

Comfortable clean cottage. Stayed in very windy conditions and the noise around the bedroom window quite annoying. Parking was an issue as there was no clear indication of which spaces were available.

It's a great little place, the heating is great and the hot water is endless and instant both from the taps and the shower. The wood burner is a welcome touch but as it says you need to provide your one logs, you will need a lot. They are sold at the garage at the top of the road. The only downside was it's not possible to walk anywhere from the cRead moreottage unless you walk on the roads which are windy and narrow so not ideal for safe walking. Is it a great base for exploring. Can highly recommend the Castle pub in Bamburgh. Hide
