The cottages sadly was very disappointing. Although the photograph of the lounge looked lovely on the website, the property was cold, no logs were provided, just a box of matches. The oven, extractor fan and some pans were dirty. Very small welcome pack provided. No welcome folder provided. Shower and bath were excellent. We felt home in the moment we stepped into the cottage. We loved to sit in the cosy kitchen ( which was really well equipped) enjoying the castle view. The cottage was clean, the beds are comfortable. And its just a short footpath to the beautiful beach and into the village. We had such a great time and we would like to come back some time.

Lovely cottage, extremely well situated. Comfy beds and good range of utensils, crockery and cutlery available. You may need to bring a 'starter pack' with you (e.g.no dishcloth was provided for our stay - this might be an oversight).

If you recommend that visitors use the dishwasher tablets then might be a good idea for there to be some. We had 1 day cold water only no idea why, and no book to provide any guidance (a simple guide book is normally available). similarly with the wifi we used the code on the back of router although logical, 99/100 it has been changed to something Read moreelse and is in a guide book, how do we use the plug in radiators? we worked it in the end.... Granted in the kitchen there is a drawer full of owner/instruction manuals but not a simple 'go to'. Logs? the advertisement doesn't state there will be any or that there won't but the photographs are suggestive, and where do ashes go if you were to buy logs and use them? No place mats, no dishcloth, 3 teabags and some single serve sugar, the kitchen table is sticky where the varnish remains. It is a shame as it could be the perfect cottage, pans are knackered the milk pan is losing it's non-stick the medium pan is losing its base..... Hide
