Escape to this gorgeous Northumberland barn conversion and lose yourselves in the sublime coastal views. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat has a stunning outlook towards the sea and the Farne Islands. It is set within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 1.5 miles from bustling Seahouses with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Perfect for a smaller party, it has a double-sided wood burner for chilly days and a garden for the summer months.

Let yourselves in to discover a very generous open-plan living space, with underfloor heating and a vaulted and beamed ceiling. Relax in the lounge area together over a game or a film on TV. Light the wood burner to enjoy its warmth from both the lounge side and the adjoining kitchen/diner. Whip up tasty meals for your party in the stylish kitchen then dine together. On summer days, open the doors to the garden. The utility room is also in this part of the barn. When you are ready to retire for the night, choose between two generous king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Each of these bedrooms can also be set up as a twin if discussed in advance. The second bedroom has access to a Jack and Jill bathroom, which also features a door to the corridor. The facilities are excellent. High quality fitments throughout. Beautiful decor. Spotlessly clean. There's everything you need. Beautiful views as well. We will come back!

This was the best self-catering accommodation we have had. The owners are to be congratulated in their choice of design, decor, furnishings and equipment. The fact that this was a seemingly rare case of 'no pets allowed' was an important 'plus' point which we hope the owners will continue to apply. The garden areas were attractive, spacious and veRead morery well maintained. There was an issue with the heating system which caused noise disturbance during the night (underfloor heating & towel rails!). This was dealt with promptly, arrangements being made to isolate this part of the system. The letting agent is being contacted separately with regard to the irritating amount of emailed information sent (by the agent) prior to , during and after the holiday. Hide
