This single-storey cottage in the old fishing quarter in the village of Seahouses is ideal for couples seeking a seaside getaway. Located in the Northumberland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of scenic walks, a nature reserve (1 mile) and Seahouses Beach (1 mile) nearby. If you want to treat yourself to a meal out, there is an excellent selection of restaurants less than 0.5 miles away. There are also plenty of shops within 0.5 miles.

As you approach the front of the stone-built cottage, you’ll notice that it looks traditional and homely. Climb three steps to reach the raised decked area where you’ll find the front door. Step inside and take your shoes off in the porch to make yourself comfortable. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner has a beamed ceiling and a one-wall kitchen with farmhouse-style wooden surfaces. In front of the Smart TV and electric fire are two sofas for stretching out after a long day of exploring the coast. Next to the lounge area and cottage-style windows, there is a table and chairs for enjoying a romantic meal with your other half. Continue through into the compact shower room, where you’ll find a shower cubicle and WC. Make yourself at home in the elegant bedroom with a double bed and a skylight.

Out the front of the property, there is a private, decked area, overlooking the communal courtyard. Here you’ll find a wooden picnic bench where you can dine alfresco after cooking your food on the BBQ.

Great location, a few minutes walk to town centre, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, other shops. and access to bus routes to other coastal locations.

Lovely dog friendly cottage with enclosed veranda, ideally located close to Seahouses Harbour and nearby beaches.

Nicely modernised cottage in a great location. The living room/kitchen and the bedroom are a comfortable size. The Loo/shower/wash basin room however is pretty small. Luckily we are not over-sized people !

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Northumberland. The cottage was ideally placed for access to all the other amenities. We parked the car and left it for a week and walked everywhere or got the bus for an amazing 2 a trip to go from north to south.

Enjoyed the location the cottage was near to town but in a quiet area also had own parking space . As we have a dog the coastal path was about 50 metres away which we used every day

Fantastic holiday cottage in a prime location! It had everything we needed and more. Really appreciated the email/text updates on the run up to our holiday and couldnt of asked for more when we stayed for a week. Have booked already to stay again next year, cant wait!
