This well thought out, welcoming property provides a wonderful retreat for families and couples looking for an escape to the seaside. You can walk or take the short 1.5-mile drive to nearby Seahouses Beach, pubs, restaurants, and shops, and book a boat trip from the harbour across to the Farne Islands to observe the wonderful wildlife first hand. Visit fabulous Bamburgh Castle, (3 miles), play and picnic on its vast, sandy beach, discover the Grace Darling Museum, and browse the village’s independent shops, pubs, and popular restaurants. Beautiful Beadnell Bay (4 miles) is known as a base for a range of water sports and is perfect for a family stroll with a view of Dunstanburgh Castle in the near distance.

From the carport, enter the property’s front door and into the stone-flagged entrance hall which leads to all of the other rooms, with underfloor heating throughout. The bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has high, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams adding to the sense of space. There are two comfortable rustic-style leather sofas to relax and recline on in front of the warming wood burner after days out exploring the area. A wall-mounted Smart TV provides entertainment and the large, gable window has French doors that open to the enclosed south-facing patio garden providing indoor/outdoor living in the warmer months. The dedicated dining space is also in the lounge with a drop leaf table and seating for four so you can sit together at mealtimes. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need to make meals and drinks during your stay with a mix of granite and solid wood surfaces and plenty of storage space to work with. At bedtime, head down the hallway to the two beautifully presented bedrooms; each with a small TV and plenty of storage space. The bright and airy super-king-size bedroom has a window to the front of the property, a Velux-style window to the rear, and an en-suite with a shower cubicle and WC. The second bedroom has a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as 2’6” twin beds on request) with Jack-and-Jill access to the family bathroom. The family bathroom comprises a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside to the rear, there is a south-facing patio garden with a BBQ, outdoor dining table, and seating for relaxed al fresco dining and drinks. To the front of the property, there is a covered carport.

Superb property, you leave any stresses at the door as soon as you enter. Really well equipped, there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there. Great size enclosed, secure garden which our dog was safe in. Great location for exploring, and only a 10 minute walk into the village where there's a good choice of restaurants and pubs for a smalRead morel resort. Hide
