From the harbour, you can hop on a boat and take a trip to the Farne Islands which is home to an abundance of wildlife such as puffins and seals. If you are a group of keen walkers, head off along the Northumberland Coastal Path for spectacular sea views. Visit Bamburgh Castle (3 miles) or Dunstanburgh Castle (10 miles).
