We had a lovely week at Blue Poppy House. There were a few niggles that we have notified the company about, but on the whole the house was spacious and comfortable. The garden was a great size for our dogs to play ball. The surrounding area was lovely with lots of walks and places to see. Good location for visiting places in Northumberland and we wRead moreent over the border to St Abbs in Scotland. Hide

The blue poppy house is a beautiful house in a great location. Although comfortable it doesnt feel very inviting. Maybe Ive been spoiled before but we arrived late with two small children and there was no loo roll, no soap and no basics like salt, pepper and oil for cooking. I was looking forward to use the bbq hut but there wasnt enough coal and tRead morehe hut couldve done with a clean. The house felt clean and towels and sheets were fab! Great house with huge potential if given a bit more love, making it worth the money we payed. Hide
