Beadnell has a glorious sandy beach and is known for its historic lime kilns along the bay. Heading north along the coast you will pass the Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve before reaching the popular seaside village of Seahouses (2 miles). From Seahouses Harbour, you can join a trip out to sea to spot grey seals and puffins, or head to the stunning Farne Islands. Back on the mainland, attractions include Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and The Alnwick Garden, all within 13 miles.
