A haven for spotting wildlife, the island is connected at low tide with the breathtaking Northumbria mainland, where you can visit the friendly coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed (15 miles) with landmarks including Bamburgh Castle, St Cuthbert’s Cave and Routin Linn Waterfall, all within 17 miles.
