Situated in the heart of the lively market town of Alnwick, this welcoming first and second-floor apartment provides cosy accommodation for couples, friends and small families enjoying a relaxing Northumberland break. A flight of stairs leads up to the front door of the apartment on the first floor. Inside, you will find the comfortable open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which makes a relaxing space for you all to get together and unwind. With tall windows allowing plenty of natural light in, the cheerful lounge is perfect for snuggling up to watch a film or chat about the day. There’s a sweet dining area and the galley-style kitchen has plenty of equipment so you can rustle up your favourite dishes. A further flight of steps leads up to the charming bathroom and two cosy bedrooms: a pretty double and a delightful single. The apartment doesn’t have any outside space of its own, but Alnwick offers plenty of delightful open spaces perfect for dining alfresco and enjoying the sun.

The apartment sits just opposite the town’s popular market square, with a wealth of great pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Alnwick is home to the stunning Alnwick Garden as well as the historic Alnwick Castle, Hulne Park, a theatre and a golf course. The coast is within easy reach, with a lovely beach at Longhoughton, 5.5 miles away. Other local attractions include Cragside, Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum, and the dramatic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, all within 11 miles.

We had a fantastic week at this property - Very comfortable and ideal for our needs. Ideal to drive to all the locations that we wanted to go to. Would use the property again if we ever come back to Northumberland.

Excellent central location for touring from. Also plenty to see within walking distance. Just be aware of the 2 flights of stairs which aren't mentioned in the details.

Centrally located and very handy for pubs, bars and restaurants. Also only a few minutes walk to Alnwick Castle.

This property was an ideal central location in walking distance to Alnwick castle and gardens the noise from nearly bars wasnt a problem. Ideally the property could do with a bit of updating like new crockery although clean was chipped mostly the sofa and rugs which were past there best for a holiday let. Other than that it was generally clean loveRead morely comfortable beds and clean bedding. Its got everything going for it just needs a bit of a revamp in some areas. Hide
