Boasting a beautiful garden where children and dogs can run and play, as well as a roaring wood burner in the living room, this property has something special to offer at all times of the year. For a delightful day out, why not hop aboard one of the blissful boat trips available in Seahouses? It’s just a few hundred metres away, and the boat trips can take you to visit the fascinating wildlife of the Farne Islands.
At the heart of this holiday home is the pretty living room which is filled with natural light from the French doors, and warmed by the glow of the wood burner. Here there are plenty of sofas for all the family to kick back and relax, whilst the family room has a number of toys and games on offer to keep younger guests entertained. Bring everyone together in the open-plan kitchen/diner with its seaside-inspired decor and you’ll find all the equipment you need to fix up a feast, as well as two dining tables for multiple occasions. The bedrooms are varied, offering flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. First, there’s a delightful master bedroom with a king-size bed and an en-suite for added privacy. Three further bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including another king-size room, a bunk room and a twin, the latter two of which are simply perfect for children. Upstairs two tasteful bedrooms complete the layout, with a third king-size bedroom and a single room alongside the family bathroom. Outside, the courtyard garden and lawn area allow for al fresco dining when the sun is shining, along with a space for outdoor games or to sit back and soak up the pretty scenery.
The fishing village of Seahouses itself has much to offer, from a selection of wonderful independent eateries, many of which welcome dogs, to its picturesque harbour and blissful beach, perfect for restful days spent close to home. Active adventurers can embrace the opportunity to head out and enjoy the rugged scenery with a walk along the Northumberland Coast Path towards Craster or Belford, two of the six stages of the beautiful 62-mile pathway.
