This lovely, semi-detached bungalow is ideal for a small family or a couple's escape to Northumberland. The property is in a quiet residential area on the edge of the historic border town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The town's amenities, including Spittal Beach, are within 2 miles. Berwick has plenty of history to discover, and the impressive Elizabethan wall surrounding the old town is now a scenic elevated walk with great views of the castle and the estuary. Head down the coast to Cocklawburn Beach (5 miles), perfect for beach walks and magnificent seascapes.

Step into this contemporary and stylish bungalow with pops of bright colour in the decor and furnishings, which lend a vibrancy to a welcoming ambience. Guests enter via a porch into a wonderful, open-plan living and dining room with art on the wall and thoughtful touches, creating a real home-from-home feel in which to unwind. Relax on the comfortable seating, chat, or watch the TV in the evening following a day of exploring. The compact kitchen has all you need to rustle up tasty treats, and a back door opens to the garden. There is a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a family bathroom. Outside, guests will find an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio area with furniture, making this a calm and relaxing place to enjoy the fresh air. Fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco on fine days.

To the south, the Northumberland Heritage Coast offers fantastic walking opportunities and long sandy beaches. Walk a section of the Northumberland Coast Path or cycle the National Cycle route. The Holy Island Causeway is 10 miles away (check tide times) and makes for a great day out. Bamburgh (19 miles) is another must-visit attraction offering a castle, beach, and many delicious eateries. To walk contrasting local landscapes, head inland to Wooler Common (18 miles) or north up the coast to St Abb's Head (16.5 miles).

Everything was excellent. Can find no fault and would certainly stay in Endar again. So peaceful and quiet, but close to everything you need.
