This stylish home in the centre of the popular resort of Seahouses is ideal for families or friends looking for the perfect seaside holiday. There are plenty of social spaces inside and outside the property to relax and have fun together. Seahouses is a large village on the Northumberland coast’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful base for a walking or cycling holiday, with many beautiful coastal walks and trails to enjoy from the doorstep. There are several gorgeous sandy beaches within 0.5 miles of the property. St Aidan’s Beach is the most popular, just north of the harbour. Spend the day here surfing, windsurfing, or building sandcastles.

Enter an attractive property with bold decor and splashes of colour in the furnishings that bring a vibrant energy to the place. The welcoming, spacious lounge has ample comfortable seating: curl up by the cosy wood burner or settle on the sofa for a family film night in front of the TV. From the lounge, patio doors lead to the garden. French doors take you to the adjoining kitchen with all the necessary appliances to cook up a storm. Two sets of patio doors lead out to the garden from the kitchen. Downstairs is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs are a contemporary bathroom, two king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms (one has an additional single bed), a triple bedroom with three single beds, and a king-size with an extra single bed. Outside you’ll discover an enclosed garden where you can play or dine alfresco on the patio area with garden furniture.

There is plenty to discover for all ages in the local area. Water sports enthusiasts should head to Beadnell (2 miles), where you can go kayaking, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. The wildlife haven of Farne Islands is 3 miles away by ferry from Seahouses, where you might spot seals. Or head north to Bamburgh (4.5 miles) and look around the magnificent castle, discover the lighthouse and enjoy coastal walks.

A lovely big house with lots of bathrooms and toilets. In an excellent position in Seahouses with off street parking. Very clean and furnished in a contemporary style.

Excellent house in a great location. Plenty of space for everyone in our group of 10. Very well equipped. Nice surprise to find a large box of beach toys available for our use.

We were a group of 9 (age range from 7 to 81) and the house was ideal for us. It was clean, very comfortable and more than fully equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. Ideally situated near the centre of Seahouses and within walking distance of both beaches. Would definitely recommend.

We would not want our name or any details to appear with this review. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sailaway. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived. The cake was delicious. There was everything we needed to have an excellent holiday. All the appliances worked well , piping hot water for showers and baths. Conveniently situated for everRead moreything in Seahouses. Spacious well located property, easy access to all amenities. Family ages 73-7, holiday enjoyed by all. Entry to Ocean Club is free, but any activities incur a charge, which we thought were expensive. The charges are not explained or stated on any paperwork. Would book Sailaway again.
