This lovely mid-terrace cottage enjoys a convenient location for exploring Northumberland’s coastal villages, like Bamburgh with its ancient Castle, pretty village and renowned restaurants. Drive to popular Seahouses to see fishing boats in the harbour and book a boat trip to the Farne Islands. Visit Beadnell Bay and for a walk on the beach and lunch in one of the pubs/restaurants or cafes, and Craster, famous for its smoked kippers and coastal path to Dunstanburgh Castle. Discover Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the town offers a range of independent shops, pubs, restaurants, a market and an active theatre/events centre. Nearer home, Belford is about a mile away with a co-op, pubs, restaurants, cafes, a farm shop, and a fish and chip shop.

Enter through the back door of this welcoming cottage and you can hang outdoor clothing and store walking boots in the hallway. The utility room is to your right with a washing machine and sink and the downstairs WC. Wander through to the spacious kitchen/diner where you have everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals together. There is an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an icebox, a larder cupboard, a microwave, and a dishwasher. The wooden table seats up to six for entertaining and the cosy wood burner adds to the cottage ambience in the cooler months. Head through to the lounge with a view of the south-facing front garden and farmer’s fields beyond. Relax and unwind on the comfortable sofa and easy chairs to watch your favourite shows on Smart TV and in the cooler evenings sit with a hot chocolate in front of the wood burner and plan your next day’s activities. At bedtime, head to the first floor where you will find the two bedrooms. There is a generous king-size bedroom with high ceilings, a bespoke dressing table, and a closet-style wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage space. This room overlooks the rear gardens and open countryside. The family bathroom comprises a contemporary walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, the enclosed garden at the front is south-facing and has a bench seat on the small patio area where you can sit watching the world go by and enjoy the sunshine.
