Located in the picturesque coastal town of Amble on the stunning Northumberland Heritage Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – this cottage is only 100 metres from the splendid sandy bay of Little Shore. The town is known for its vibrant fishing industry with its bustling harbour and fishing boats, lending an authentic atmosphere to the area. With its inviting beaches, an array of water sports, scenic coastal walks and an abundance of local seafood restaurants, bistros, quirky shops and friendly Inns to enjoy. Steeped in maritime heritage, the town's quaint streets boast historic buildings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Wander along the promenade or enjoy boat trips from the harbour to Coquet Island and spot the seals and colonies of seabirds including puffins!

Step inside this stylish, period, stone-built cottage into the vestibule where you can store your outdoor clothing, then head through to the light and bright lounge. Relax after a day out exploring the delightful coastal area and enjoy a film on the Smart TV, and on those cooler evenings switch on the wood burner effect electric fire. Cook up a storm in the spacious well-equipped kitchen with a dining area for family or romantic meals. Venturing upstairs you will find a cosy single bedroom with coastal views. There’s also a lovely double bedroom with ample storage space and coastal views, and a second double bedroom with a 4’ bed and ample storage space with views over the rear, enclosed courtyard. Finally completing the accommodation is the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Venturing outside with direct access from the rear hall next to the kitchen, there is an enclosed courtyard with two sets of tables and chairs for al fresco dining or lazy evening stargazing.

I booked Eider Cottage with my 3 adult daughters for a week at Easter. It was cosy and warm. The cottage is very well equipped and we had plenty of room. The cottage is very well placed for walks (it's yards from the coastal path), and for visiting other Northumberland beaches and towns.

Wonderful very well equipped cottage in a fantastic location. We stayed over Xmas and the owner had decorated the whole cottage and left some lovely seasonal treats for us.

Eider Cottage was a perfect choice for our stay in Amble. The house was so clean and tidy throughout. The kitchen was so well stocked for self catering with pelnty cutlery , dishes etc. A lovely welcome tray was very much appreciated by us, very thoughtful. It's location was ideal giving us lots of choices for walks and fabulous views of the sea anRead mored surrounding areas. Local restaurants at the harbour were excellent. Absolutely would recommend this place. Hide
