Gather your family for a fun-filled holiday in Northumberland. This beautiful bungalow can easily accommodate a small group, and welcomes dogs, too! Everything is presented to a high standard, and the garden is a great spot to relax and enjoy quality time with your loved ones. Further out, there’s lots to explore, including dog-friendly beaches and the charming village of Seahouses.

Upon entering you’ll see a bright kitchen/lounge with a breakfast bar for meals. Everything is nicely decorated in shades of cream and dark blue, and the lounge area can be made cosier with the wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you’ll need to make tasty dinners or pack up picnics. Continue to the hall, which leads to the bedrooms and the family bathroom. This is a lovely space with a shower over the deep, triangular bath. This property has two bedrooms; one king-size with a quaint, beach-hut vibe, and a children’s bedroom with a bunk bed, a double bed with a single on top. This bedroom has a patio door which leads to the garden. You’ll start on the sheltered patio, which has rattan furniture so you can eat outside, then take a few steps down to the lawn with a table and a charcoal and wood BBQ. It’s enclosed by a high wooden fence for your security.

Seahouses is a nice village with a lot of nautical history. It’s home to a (disused) gunpowder house, which is worth a visit, and the harbour is still operational. Both are about 500 metres away. For a quiet, dog-friendly beach, head 0.5 miles to Bell’s Point. Alternatively, take in the natural splendour of Holy Island, 19 miles away, or explore Dunstanburgh Castle (9.5 miles), a 14th-century ruin with picnic spots and nice walks.

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 king-size and 1 bunk bed (double with a single over)
  • 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC
  • Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer with water dispenser, steam cooker, Ninja Air fryer and electric mixer
  • Travel cot and highchair
  • Wood burner-effect electric fire
  • Smart TV in lounge and king-size bedroom, TV in bunk bedroom
  • Off-road parking for 1 car
  • Enclosed garden with covered raised decked area with seating areas and chimenea (charcoal or wood BBQ)
  • Beach, harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants all within 300 metres
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had a most enjoyable three night stay. The cottage was perfect and had all we could possible need. The little touches of welcome gift and dog treats was lovely. The cottage is a perfect location for Seahouses to get around and explore. We will definitely return.

On the whole the flat was ok. One or two things could have been better, although the flat is for 4 people there were 3 of us but not room to sit at the breakfast bar together and only 2 chairs! The bed was comfortable.

Lovely comfortable property, very well equipped and everything we needed. A stones throw from 2 pubs serving food all day. Several takeaways and small independent shops together with an excellent Co-op just a short walk away. Lovely walks along the seafront and a nice little harbour.
