Located a few metres from Amble’s award-winning High Street, this detached, stone-built cottage beautifully blends original features with classic and contemporary interiors. Ideal for a family-friendly break or a couples’ getaway, this two-bedroom property also welcomes two canine companions. After exhilarating days exploring the coast and countryside, return here to relax in the cosy lounge or bubble beneath the stars in the outdoor hot tub.

Arranged over two storeys, this delightful cottage has been lovingly refurbished to create a true home from home. Light and spacious with a beautifully polished floor and an inglenook fireplace with an electric wood-burner-effect fire, the lounge is a focal point of this property. Fill the room with laughter and chatter about your day, or settle down for a cosy film night in front of the Smart TV. Next door, cook up a storm in the contemporary kitchen, then gather around the bench dining table to feast or dine alfresco in the courtyard garden. The hot tub offers the perfect respite after long days hiking, then head upstairs to get comfy under the covers of the king-size and twin bedrooms. After a rejuvenating night’s sleep, refresh in the ground-floor bathroom, ready for new adventures.

There’s plenty to explore in this friendly little port town, from an array of independent shops and eateries to a picturesque harbour. Head here to munch on fresh fish and chips and wander around the popular Harbour Village, a group of shopping pods selling gifts and foodie bits. Hop on the puffin cruise to see these comical little birds nesting along the coast and nearby islets, or travel back in time to Warkworth Castle (1.5 miles). Further afield, don’t miss a trip to magnificent Alnwick Castle (9 miles) or enjoy a day on the golden sands of Alnmouth (6 miles).

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Hot tub was a hit with all the family. Dog friendly, fully enclosed yard was great. Owner very friendly and helpful, giving recommendations for food and dog walks. Ice cream shop in Amble is a must visit!

Cottage location good with parking ideal for the shops and restaurants Hot tub was a bonus which was checked daily.. The cottage had been well renovated lovely size. bedrooms,bathroom and lounge all a high standard throughout.Kitchen well equipped.

Lovely cottage- clean and comfortable. Excellent base for local area . Great hot tub and private garden which although small very dog friendly . Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed a truly magical stay. The accommodation was superb and Rachel had thought of everything and was so helpful both before and during our stay. Cannot recommend the beautiful home and location highly enough . Will definitely be back :)

The cottage is beautiful very comfortable and quite peaceful. It is perfectly situated for easy access to a number of places of interest to us and for walking the dog. Druridge Bay in particular was perfect and just beautiful with a great stretch of beach for the dog to have fun. We loved it and wouldnt change a thing.
