Situated just 2 miles from Bamburgh, this modern property enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. It has three bedrooms and sleeps up to six people, so it’s perfect for families or groups of friends happy to share. With large communal areas, a fabulous deck outside and comfortable bedrooms, it’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway.
The property is a detached lodge which you enter through the hallway with space for storing all outerwear. Head through to the open-plan living area which has high ceilings so it feels wonderfully spacious. The kitchen/dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the room with natural light. The doors can be fully opened onto the deck next to the kitchen which offers views of the area’s cliffs. The kitchen has a contemporary feel and has everything you need to rustle up delicious meals. The dining table makes mealtimes sociable with space for all. The lounge is equally impressive with more floor-to-ceiling windows. It has sofas so you can unwind around the wood burner or TV, when you’re not looking at the view. Two bedrooms lead off the lounge, as well as a lovely bathroom – pick between a double with its own en-suite, and a twin room. The property has one further double bedroom off the kitchen and a family bathroom. Outside, the balcony decking has plenty of seating to make the most of the views.
The property is located in an old quarry, amongst twelve other eco-lodges. The quarry once provided stones for the nearby Bamburgh Castle. While Bamburgh with all its eateries and amenities is just 2 miles distant, other towns such as Seahouses (6 miles) are also worth a visit. You could head 8 miles to Beadnell Bay for another pretty stretch of sand, food at a local restaurant, or water sports.
