The lounge has views across the garden to the open countryside which can be enjoyed from the comfy sofas which are situated around the wood burner and TV. This is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in - if not the best! The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and we have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The area has so much to offer with beaches close by. The owner of the cottage was brilliant at communicating with us - I really cannot praise this place highly enough!

The Old Mill is a super place to stay in Northumberland. The location is ideal for exploring the whole county, with the beach being only a few miles away and Hadrian's Wall, Kielder Forest and National Park all within an hours drive. The cottage itself is really well kitted out, spacious and comfortable. The owners are responsive and flexible and wRead moree had a fabulous fortnight there. We stayed for a week at the end of June as a party of 6 adults, one baby and 2 dogs, and had a lovely week. The accommodation was to a very high standard, and provided a lovely place to relax when we were not out. Vicky, the owner, was very responsive to any questions we had both before and during our stay.
