Greenhaugh (3.5 miles) has a pub/restaurant, and Bellingham (7 miles) is where you will find local shops, pubs, restaurants, and the famed Hareshaw Linn walk. Further afield, Kielder Forest and Water Park (20 miles) is a wonderful, wooded landscape dotted with lakes, ideal for water sports, cycling and walking.
