Take a coastal stroll to beautiful Beadnell Bay (3 miles) or visit Low Newton (7 miles) and Embleton (7 miles) for exquisite sandy beaches, making sure to pop into the local pub along the way. To the south, you’ll find Bamburgh’s huge beach (3.5 miles) and its iconic castle. Book a boat trip to see the wildlife on the Farne Islands or drive over the causeway to Holy Island for Lindisfarne Castle (19 miles). Alternatively, spend a memorable day at Alnwick Gardens (15 miles), home to the world's largest Tai Haku cherry orchard and the world’s largest treehouse restaurant.
