Stepping into this refreshing and colourful retro-styled apartment, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner makes a relaxing space for you to unwind in. The lounge has a TV and a charming window seat, as well as a comfortable sofa bed which can accommodate a couple of extra guests. The dining area is set near the window, and there’s also a fully equipped picnic basket you can borrow when heading to the beach. Round the corner, the kitchen has everything you may need for cooking up all your favourite meals. Stairs lead down directly into the cosy double bedroom which features a TV and a chic en-suite wet room. Outside, you will have access to a shared courtyard and your own garden table and chairs, providing a delightful spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

 

The apartment is perfect for exploring the town’s market, theatre, historic bookshop, museum and galleries, and for visiting the impressive Alnwick Castle (less than a quarter of a mile away) and the spellbinding Alnwick Garden with its treehouse restaurant (0.5 miles). Heading along the coast you can visit Alnmouth (4.5 miles) and Craster (7.5 miles), with local attractions including Dunstanburgh Castle, Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum and Warkworth Castle (all within 7.5 miles).

The cottage was great and in such a good location. Free 24 hour parking close by so not far to walk to the car when we needed it. The coffee, tea and shortbread on arrival was a nice touch. Would use again and would recommend

We had a lovely few days in Northumberland. The apartment in Alnwick was perfectly located next to the main market square and close to all the shows, bars and restaurants. It has all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay and the host was very helpful.

The property is spotlessly clean, modern and a good central location. In mid summer the bedroom is far too light for good sleep.

A comfortable cottage in a great location for exploring Alnwick. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by and a lovely Saturday market. We found parking very easy and found a space even on busy bank holidays.

Great location and spotless tiny Town House in beautiful Alnwick, perfect for a couple and their furry friend who love exploring. We stayed a week and will definitely look at returning. Thoroughly recommend as a base for exploring the area. Only challenge for us were the parking restrictions in Alnwick itself but on a positive it is all free.

Good use of all available space, very cosy and welcoming. Catching the evening sun sitting on the window seat was lovely. Good central location for all the places we wanted to visit.
