We found the small bungalow warm & cosy & comfortable. We enjoyed the sunroom even though it was October! Furnishings & interior decorations very good Altogether I would highly recommend a stay in Sandy Bottom, Beadnell.

The area is lovely, very quiet and the cottage is great for 2 people and 2 dogs. Unfortunately the outside needs a good clean and tidy and the matress and settee need replacing as they are not comfortable. Everything you needs is there, a small freezer instead of the table and stools would have been a better use of the space. The design and situation of the "cottage" on a small housing estate was unusual, but in fact it was ideal for walking to both of the beaches and to the village shop. There are several dog friendly cafes nearby too. It was suitably equipped for 1 person and dog, but I didn't let dog get too sandy as there was nowhere outside to clean him. We had a lovely week, a couple and our dog. My concern on arrival was seeing that our bungalow was ajoined by 2 others, but thankfully this wasnt an issue with one bungalow empty all week and the other creating little noise. The area was very quiet, we had lots of dog walks and met some lovely people, locals and holiday makers.

On 1st impression the property was very good however, the shower had black mould on the tiles and the duvet was bulky with very uncomfortable pillows. In general it was very comfortable and Beadnell a good place to stay. Highly reccomend the Craster Arms excellent food also the fish and chip van by the village shop, superb.

A little dated in certain parts of bungalow. Be aware if you have dogs, garden safe, however public footpath runs along garden fence, dogs could start to bark. Ours did. Great location, quiet on an evening most of the time. Lovely places to eat and visit. Thank you to all at Sandy Bottom.
