We stayed for a week. Lovely hosts and area is very well kept and quiet. 3 small pubs near by ideal if youre in a pinch. Property was very clean and decorated nicely. Only down side to the property was there is no microwave, no freezer and the bed is only a double. We struggled with these even staying for a week staying longer would be much more diRead morefficult. Hide

I've stayed in many rental cottages and this one was immaculate. Welcoming hosts, scenic village location (three pubs!) and convenient for local sights. Strongly recommended.

In summary: brilliant! This has to be one of the best cottages that we have ever stayed in. The hosts were lovely and welcoming. The furnishings and equipment were faultless. There was a comprehensive welcome pack including wine. We have never seen so much storage space as there was in the bedroom. Also there was a change of towels mid-week. WeatheRead morer prevented us from using the lovely garden space. All in all a lovely comfortable, welcoming and relaxing place to stay. Will come again. Thank you! Hide

A really lovely property immaculately presented, lots of beautiful finishing touches. Steve and Katharine are very welcoming hosts, and left us a lovely welcome package of lots of goodies. The annex is in a very quiet area of Acomb and makes an ideal base for touring the Hadrians Wall area of Northumberland, so lots to do within easy reach
