Great house and great location. Do not bother trying to park at the property, just park on the path near the road. As other reviews say it is very narrow access and the neighbour thinks the whole area is his. Location is great for walking into town and doing the local walks and for exploring Northumberland. House is well equipped and clean. The picRead mores do not do it justice. Hide

Lovely house, well decorated, homely and the king bed on the top floor was like sleeping on a cloud. I do feel there is room for improvement though. The kitchen lacked the basics such as a frying pan (we ended up buying our own) Patio needs TLC, BBQ/ Pizza Oven were dirty and even if we had the weather we would not have used them. Weeds on the wholRead moree patio. No pets allowed upstairs but no gate on the stairs to help with this. There was a gate in the storage area which we could make use of. Hide

We liked the spaciousness and decor of this house, the views from top floor and its location was good for us and a short walk into the town. However, the range of kitchen cooking/serving equipment was poor and we had to buy various items. We had to park on pavement down belo house as neighbours kept using our space. Not a deal breaker but inconveniRead moreent at times. The outside BBQ area was a lovely idea but it was not clean or ready for use. Hide

Beautiful comfortable and peaceful house with plenty of space for 8 people. An issue with the upstairs shower slightly spoiled our stay and parking was not!SELECTED! !ENDOFSELECTED!the easiest, but Berwick is a fabulous place to stay with plenty to do.

Fantastic place to stay, close to the bridges to get into Berwick. House is lovely and was perfect for our extended family. Good costcutter nearby and lots of shops and restaurants in Berwick. Spacious, warm, well equipped and immaculately clean. Well located for exploring Northumberland and the borders with all the amenities you need within a short walk. An added bonus that 3 dogs are allowed.

We stayed here over the Christmas week and had the best time! There is lots of space in every room in the house, and the homely touches (and the Christmas tree and fairy lights!) were very welcoming. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had all the things you would ever need, including plastic plates/bowls/cutlery for the kids. Car parking was very tight and best to park on main road beside the property. The property is located on a very busy and noisy road.
