Lovely, character property with plenty of space and within walking distance of the beach, golf and places to eat and drink in the village. Perfect for families and friends.

A stone-built property with loads of traditional and interesting features, boasting a central location and sleeping four guests, this is the perfect place for families and friends to visit Northumberland. You’ll be close to the beach and superb coastal paths during your stay.

Relax on the comfy sofas in front of the warming wood burner set in a stone fireplace in the airy lounge. Head through to the kitchen which has original stone flooring and feature range built into the wall. The dining area is in a magnificent, vaulted ceiling conservatory/summer room that overlooks the church spire, making mealtimes memorable. It also has a mezzanine area with seating for guests wanting to take some time out. A spacious shower room completes the downstairs while the two bedrooms are upstairs. Head outside and enjoy a morning coffee on the patio table while you plan the day ahead.

You will be right in the heart of Alnmouth, which has a good mix of shops, cafes and restaurants. The wide, sandy Alnmouth beach is just 200 metres away, perfect for soaking up the sun on a summer’s day. Enjoy a game of golf at Alnmouth Village Golf Club or take a walk along the Aln Estuary and bay. Hop in the car and head to Bamburgh (21.5 miles). Visit the imposing Bamburgh Castle, drifting sand dunes or the Farne Islands before picking one of the many eateries in the town. The Northumberland Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which can be admired and explored on the coastal paths running through the county.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A comfortable residence, in a great location with all local amenities close to hand. Fantastic to be able to walk to the beach in two minutes. Good pubs and restaurants.

A very homely, cosy cottage ideally situated for everything Alnmouth has to offer. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and is literally surrounded by great places to eat. The only drawback for us was the lack of an enclosed space for our dog.

An attractive comfortable well-equipped cottage giving easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach. The parking space a real asset. Morning deliveries to hotel opposite each morning at 5am would not suit light sleepers.

This cottage is really comfortable, has everything you need for your stay, if you intend to sit and chill outside of the cottage I would recommend you take some comfortable folding chairs, the ones there aren't comfortable at all, otherwise I would highly recommend staying here, the area is beautiful

Our stay at the cottage was lovely, right in the centre for shops, pubs and tearooms, all very dog friendly. The cottage was very clean and set out welcoming on arrival, lovely sun trap in the conservatory/dinning room and a comfy lounge to relax in after a walk on the beautiful beach. Highly recommend

A cosy two bedroomed cottage on a main street in Alymouth with easy access to the beach, pubs, restaurants and 'bus service. No garden/outdoor space other than a small area in the communal drive/parking area.

Super location with parking and frequently rung Church bells. As someone who likes a m!d day nap i should have brought ear plugs and an eye mask. I recommend fellow nappers, and light sleepers, to bring both.

This cottage is in a perfect location for pottering around Alnmouth or a stroll to the beach. The conservatory has a fantastic view of the church spire, and is a wonderful bright space...we spent a lot of time in there!

We've been to the cottage a few times so are familiar with much of it. The major downside was the repeated delivery activity on or around 6.00am every day. As the cottage is located centrally you might expect some activity, however this was a major negative for us. The cottage is comfortable without being luxurious, and being an old building does tRead moreake some heating, but all in all it is in a prime position for those that want this. Hide

The cottage is in a great location, very close to the beach and to shops and pubs. It is also a good location for exploring Northumberland.

Generally a very nice cottage. Very well equipped and in great location. Having parking is very important in Alnmouth! It is a bit tired looking inside. Needs some decoration but very clean. Nice woodburner.

The cottage was perfectly placed in the village, the dcor is tasteful and cosy. I do feel that a few improvements could be made to make the stay more comfortable, we did have cold weather and found the cottage on the chilly side, we spent a fortune on logs and the quilts could have been thicker. The kitchen was lacking in cooking dishes and equipmeRead morent and some of the pans and frying pans need replacing. Having said that, I would stay at the cottage again as I loved the location. A comfortable, warm, well placed cottage with parking, a real boon in Alnmouth. Excellent internet. We enjoyed out three weeks there, plenty to do in the area especially when blessed with unusually good weather for March.

Fabulous location in the heart of the village with the added bonus of off street parking. The cottage is clean and well equipped and the bed in the main bedroom is so comfortable! The towels are beautiful and soft too. I really felt at home and relaxed in the cottage and was reluctant to leave, as was my Poodle! Highly recommended.

Spent a fabulous holiday in beautiful Alnmouth in the superb Lodge Cottage. Exceedingly comfortable and to have our own parking outside the door was a real bonus. We spent seven nights there from 15th January and loved it so much we have booked up two weeks this time in November!

Extremely comfortable and well presented cottage. We particularly enjoyed all the houseplants, the lovely dining room (with underfloor heating!) and excellent shower. Youre right in the centre of Alnmouth but the cottage is still peaceful. This is a lovely part of the country, whatever time of year you visit.
