Tastefully furnished semi-detached cottage located in the heart of Beadnell village with a café/bistro, plus two welcoming pub restaurants. Perfect for family holidays.

In the heart of Beadnell village, this coastal property offers the complete package. In an enviable location with a private garden, it is within half a mile of the gorgeous Beadnell Bay, with a number of local shops and eateries, and 5 miles from Bamburgh with its famous Anglo-Saxon castle. Providing space for up to six people and four dogs, it really is a haven for those looking to balance leisure and play and simply enjoy being amongst the extraordinary beauty of Northumberland.

Take the two small stone steps up to the front door and enter your retreat through the hallway. From here, an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with warm, tasteful décor and attractive dual-aspect windows awaits. Sure to become a favourite for hunkering down, this space has two comfortable sofas and a family-sized dining table and chairs – great for movie nights and family games. To feed the troops, the kitchen has everything you could need and more, even including a dishwasher and washing machine. From the kitchen, a split stable door leads out onto the patio garden where you can make use of an outdoor table and chairs and a semi-enclosed seating area with sofas. Ensuring everyone gets great night’s sleep, the property also has three pretty bedrooms, all on the first floor.

Within walking distance of Beadnell Bay, this location is perfect for picnics on the beach and long sandy walks. If you have kids, the simple pastimes of rock pooling, sandcastle building and playing on the shore will create cherished memories. To see what’s on nearby, make sure Seahouses (2 miles) and Bamburgh (4 miles) are both on your list, before heading off to Alnwick (14.5 miles) and Lindisfarne (21 miles). Particularly recommended, a 1-hour boat trip from Seahouses harbour will take you to the Farne Islands.

We had a great break here. The cottage is well equipped and walking distance from the beach and pub. Beadnell is lovely close to craster, seahouses and Bamburgh we walked to the castle along the coast. The house was great for us as a couple with a dog - enclosed garden and was a perfect winter break

Beautiful cottages, well located for the Centre of Beadnell and the beaches, A lot of effort had been made to decorate for Christmas with a wonderful tree and high quality ornaments, Heating was very efficient meaning the log fire was more for coziness than necessity Very comfortable sofas and well thought out accommodation Will return !

A very comfortable cottage with easy parking although if you go in the winter be sure you have a plentiful supply of logs since there are only two radiators on the open-plan ground floor . The only drawback with this house is that it only has one bathroom . Otherwise it is difficult to fault . Hide

Well equipped cottage in an excellent location. Second bedroom is a little snug and could prove a bit inconvenient if 4 adults are staying and two double beds required. Overall it was more than adequate for our 3 adult stay.
