Welcoming dogs, the beach is a great place to make a splash in the sea and to build sandcastles. Visit the castle with its magnificent views, tee up and enjoy a game of golf, and take a trip to the Grace Darling Museum. Nearby, Beadnell Bay (8 miles) is renowned for its water sports, try your hand at surfing, sailing or scuba diving to name a few activities on offer at this vibrant seaside hub. Journey inland to Northumberland National Park and climb the highest summit in the Cheviot Hills, The Cheviot (20 miles), where your ascent is rewarded with magnificent views.
