Thornbrae Lodge offers luxury, self-catering accommodation for up to 4 guests. The cottage has been completely refurbished and offers excellent facilities throughout. Accommodation is all on one level with a spacious lounge with large flat screen TV and log burner. There is a good sized, well equipped kitchen and dining room. There are two double bedrooms; the master with a super king zip and link bed, both with large flatscreen TVs and a stunning large shower room.
Outside the cottage, there is an enclosed patio area which features a private hot tub. The patio also has an outdoor dining area where you can relax with your food and drink.

The cottage enjoys one of the most enviable locations in Alnwick, just a short distance from the town centre where you will find a great range of cafes, boutique shops, restaurants, bars, weekly market in the square and of course, the very popular Alnwick Castle - home of the Hogwarts and scenes from the Downton Abbey TV series. The Alnwick Gardens is close to the Castle and is a must- visit. Regarded as one of the world’s most contemporary gardens, it features a spectacular grand-cascade water feature, a Poison Garden and one of the world’s largest tree houses which plays host to a renowned restaurant.
You are also under 10 minutes drive from the award-winning Northumberland Coastline, which has also just been voted Holiday Destination of the Year by Countryfile Magazine 2017. Explore the nearby popular seaside villages of Alnmouth, Amble, Craster and Seahouses and take a boat trip to the Farne Islands. The area is steeped in history with ancient castles including Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh, Warkworth and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne dotted along the coastline.
