Nestling close to the picturesque village of Bamburgh, this superb farmhouse style barn conversion makes a fantastic holiday base for families or friends enjoying the fabulous Northumberland coast.

The Granary has been lovingly refurbished and sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 good size bedrooms with 3 bath/shower rooms. This superb farmhouse style cottage is full of light, space and exposed beams. With its extensive gardens enclosed by stone walls, The Granary is ideal for a large family or group of friends looking for plenty of space, fresh air and beautiful surroundings to come back to after exploring the beaches, seaside villages and countryside of stunning Northumberland. The cottage is suitable for guests with restricted mobility as there is a ground floor bedroom and shower room.

You have private parking for 2 or 3 cars, free Wi-Fi, BT TV and a warming, wood burning stove in the spacious lounge. The popular and historic village and castle of Bamburgh is a short drive away and can also be reached on foot via a rural, public footpath.

Bamburgh village is a beautiful coastal town in the heart of Northumberland. The famous Bamburgh Castle sits up high and is a truly magnificent sight, overlooking the expanse of white sandy beach, which is perfect for long walks with your family and friends. Within the town are several shops, restaurants and cafes making it a perfect place to explore. A little further along the coast are the popular seaside villages of Seahouses and Beadnell, so you are never too far away from the beach. From Seahouses, you can take a short boat trip to the Farne Islands, a sea bird sanctuary that also boasts a colony of Atlantic and Grey Seals.

great size with plenty of room much larger than i thought it would be ,there was 6 adults and 3 children in our party and we did'nt feel crowded. bedrooms were large and roomy. every utensil supplied we had a very happy stay , would recomend

Beautiful cottage, got everything we needed. There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 toddlers) + a dog and we had loads of space and very child friendly. The garden is fab, very private and enclosed and seeing the donkeys nearby was great. We were celebrating my daughters 40th birthday and had the most perfect time, thank you

We had a fabulous week's stay at this lovely property. It was nicely furnished, very comfortable and well equipped. It was in an ideal position just outside Bamburgh, so really convenient for exploring the area. The dogs enjoyed the large garden to run around in, and it was a treat to see (and hear) the donkeys next door.

The cottage was very nice, clean and well maintained, it is situated down a quiet lane. It has a large kitchen/diner which is very well equipped. We had a wonderful stay at the Granary, the weather was wonderful and we took full advantage of the large garden. We enjoyed walking into Bamburgh across the fields, visiting castles, beaches and hills during our visit. The Granary is a large comfortable home, which catered for an extended family of 8 and 2 dogs admirably.

A lovely cottage which exceeded our expectations: we were very impressed by the high standard of cleanliness throughout, bedding and towels were crisp and fresh and all surfaces, furnishings and equipment were pristine. We have just had a perfect week at The Granary. It ticked all the boxes for us. We were extremely lucky to have perfect weather, every day was full of blue skies and sunshine. The cottage was perfect, a beautiful location. It had everything we needed for a fabulous holiday. We stayed with our dogs and walked from the cottage daily enjoying coastal walks with nice pub stops. We will definitely return.

We had a very enjoyable week at the Granary with better weather than we expected. The cottage was very spacious with a large, enclosed garden. Lots of good walks in the area but, as someone has mentioned previously, there are several styles to cross in the surrounding fields which were impossible to do with a dog too big to lift!

The Granary is an excellent holiday cottage only a short walk over the fields to Bamburgh with it's magnificent castle. The kitchen is large and well equipped with a table which would seat 8 comfortably. A wood burner made the lounge a cosy place to relax together in the evening. Well equipped property that is conveniently located close to Bamburgh. Large enclosed area at the back, ideal for our dog. Can walk over the fields to Bamburgh - takes about 15 minutes. (Note: if you have a dog it has to be lifted over over 3 or 4 stiles en route). Thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay.

Lovely, clean and spacious property in a very peaceful area. The cottage was well equipped and there were good, clear instructions about how everything worked, which you don't always get in holiday rentals. We enjoyed a great chilled out week in this beautiful part of the country and would definitely stay in the cottage again.

An absolutely fabulous property in an idyllic location. A 5 minute drive from the shops and pubs in Bambrugh or a 15 minute walk across the field following the blue footpath sign on the left. The Granary is a superb base for exploring all of what the Northumberland coast has to offer. Ideal for kids and dogs with the massive enclosed garden.
