Newly renovated and thoroughly beautiful cottage with wonderful sea views from the 2 sets of French windows in the lounge, located just a few meters from the sea front and harbour in the popular Northumberland seaside village of Seahouses. Sea Glass is an attractive, 3 storey property offering contemporary, self-catering accommodation with modern facilities, such as Smart TV and plenty of luxurious touches to ensure you and your family or friends enjoy an unforgettable holiday by the sea.

Please note that for larger groups, this cottage can be booked alongside other similar cottages.

The glorious beaches, bustling village life with its varied shops, restaurants and bars and the many local attractions such as boat trips to The Farne Islands and days out to Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Low Newton, Craster and beyond are all within easy reach. Once you are here, you can leave the car behind for a few days and enjoy long walks on the local beaches and coastal paths.

With three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 guests and two bath/shower rooms, central heating, off road, private parking for 1 car and free guest Wi-Fi. Bed linen, towels, hot water and green energy central heating are included.

This cottage accepts two well behaved dogs.

  • 3 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom with double bed, 1 twin room with a single bed with sliding separate single bed beneath and with TV, Wii and games, and 1 bunk bedroom
  • 2 bathrooms - 1 bathroom with shower over bath, WC and washing machine & 1 shower room with walk-in shower and WC
  • Kitchen with electric hob and oven, under counter fridge, microwave, toaster and cafetiere
  • Lounge with Smart TV with Netflix and a choice of DVDs and games
  • Entrance with full staircase leading to the 2 storey living accommodation
  • Private, off-road parking space for 1 car in the shared courtyard at the rear
  • Small patio area shared with the cottage next door
  • Bed linen, hot water and ‘green’ energy central heating are included

  • Pub, shop, and restaurants within walking distance
  • For larger groups, there is a sister cottage called Sea Shells Cottage which can be rented with this property
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Nice location, fantastic view, we enjoyed our stay there. A freezer compartment in the fridge would have been very helpful and house/rules and instructions. We did manage to sort out refuse collectons, but the bins were very full before we arrived. Theres a lack of plugs in the bedroom, so an extension cable would be helpful.

Beautiful cottage, just be wary of 2 flights of stairs in the property. Property is on 3 floors, living area on top floor, then bedrooms on 2nd floor. Not ideal if have dogs, no private enclosed grassed area. Would definitely recommend though.

Lovely place to stay with adequate equipment. Stairs were an issue for me personally which wasnt made clear on booking site. Steep stairs on entry and super squeaky stairs up to the main living area. No freezer which was an issue in relation to food and ice for drinks. Lovely views over the harbour and beyond. Great to watch sunset. Just wasnt suitRead moreable for us for a return visit. Hide

This cottage is within easy walking distance of the town centre and has beautiful views. It was comfortable and clean.

The outside sitting area was very unkept with rusty deck chairs and dirty table that were unusable. Inside the property is mostly well presented but we were disappointed that the french doors were very dirty (definetly not cleaned in a few months} which spoiled the view to the harbour. The drains could also do with some attention because after a coRead moreuple of days they started to smell unpleasent. Will not be visiting this cottage again Hide
