Within a few minutes walk is the coast, plenty of coastal paths and of course, stunning Beadnell beach and bay which extends to the south towards the village of Newton-by-the-Sea and to the north, the ever popular Seahouses, boat trips to the Farne Islands, Bamburgh Castle and village and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne are all within a few minutes drive.

Property wasn't as we expected. From the picture and description you expect it to be detached, which It isn't, it's one building with 4 properties so you can hear everyone walking upstairs, TV noise. No privacy in garden, plus you have to walk through the neighbours garden to go out.

We loved our stay at Quarry Bank. Excellent location for exploring Northumbria. The house is located in a very peaceful area and is in a beautiful waterside setting. The house is well equipped and comfy. We really appreciated the welcome gifts, and that dogs were welcome too! Cottage quite small but great location. We really loved being able to look out onto the lake from every window and became keen bird watchers! Handy central location for exploring the area. Fantastic beach nearby at Beadnell.

Lovely house in a quiet area with easy access to the shop, pubs and beach. Ideally situated for walks along the coast to Newton by the sea and Craster (south) or Seahouses and Bamburgh (north) easy by car or bus to alnwick, Berwick-upon-Tweed, holy island etc. Would definitely use again if holidaying in Northumberland.

This cottage is in a wonderful quiet location and Beadnell is ideally situated for visiting many places of interest. The beautiful beaches are a five minute walk away and both pubs do good meals. The cottage is very well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, two TVs and WI-FI.

Fabulous location in quiet cul-de-sac to view local wildlife and 10 mins walk from the harbour and beach. Appreciated extremely comfortable bed and sofas in a well equipped cottage. A great base for exploring this lovely area.
