This Lodge is a beautifully decorated Scandinavian style log cabin in Low Alwinton, a stunning area of unspoiled countryside in Northumberland National Park.
Not only is the area surrounding the Lodge rich in natural beauty, the lodge itself lies metres from the banks of River Coquet making it an ideal base for those interested in walking, cycling and wildlife spotting. It is also a great place to stargaze with the national park itself having been recently certified Europe’s largest Dark Skies Park.
The Lodge has a lovely open plan living space which includes a lounge, dining and kitchen which opens out onto decking. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Outside there is outdoor space with stunning views of Harbottle Forest and the Cheviot Hills. There is also a large communal area outside the lodge.
Superbly located, with Rothbury - a town beneath the rugged Simonside Hills - 11 miles to the west and the popular market town of Morpeth 25 miles away. As always with staying in Northumberland, you are never far from the coast with the closest beach Longhoughton only a 45 minute drive away.
This cottage accepts one well behaved dog.
