Grace Cottage was a traditonal fisherman’s cottage that has been lovingly refurbished and now offers wonderfully comfortable and modern holiday accommodation for a family of up to 4 or, for a couple and friends. The cottage is in a perfect, central location for any visitor looking to stay close to the beaches, castles, boat trips to the Farne Islands, as well as all the village amenities, restaurant and shops.
Grace Cottage has a lovely light and spacious lounge with log burning stove, TV and DVD player and dining area with seating for four. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a lovely, king-size bedroom with a hair dryer and twin bedroom with flatscreen TV. There is an external door leading from the twin bedroom onto the small decking area with outdoor seating for 4. There is a downstairs cloakroom while upstairs is a family bathroom with shower over bath.
Staying at Grace Cottage in popular Seahouses affords you easy access to all of the local attractions on both the Northumberland coastline, as well as the other must-visit places like Alnwick’s market town for Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Gardens, as well as the dark skies park within the Northumberland National Park. Try the coastal path walks from Seahouses to nearby Bamburgh to visit the castle, fabulous beach and traditional village shops, as well as the village of Beadnell with its crescent shaped beach, ideal for watching water sports and picnics in the sand dunes, not to mention its popular pub, restaurants and bistro for great meals out. Cross the tidal causeway for a visit to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and sample some world famous Craster Kippers. You will never be short of things to do and see and Grace Cottage is a wonderful cottage to come home to!
